Pond Hockey Is Back!

Pond Hockey at the TRAC is back! Come out to stay active and have some fun this spring with a Pond Hockey style league created "For the love of the game".

What is pond hockey style?

A pond hockey style game is intended to resemble an outdoor "neighborhood" pickup hockey game traditionally played on a frozen pond or lake. It is typically a smaller rink (In our case 1/2 or 1/3 ice for 8U) and meant to be very small teams (4v4 and 3v3 for 8U) and small area games. With the smaller play surface there are many shots and many puck touches.

DETAILS:

The season typically runs from April through mid-June. It consists of a 7-game 1/2 Ice (1/3 ice for 8U) season.

All games are 50-minute running time.
No Checking - Penalties result in penalty shots.
Full Equipment Required
(1) Parent volunteer will facilitate each team game
7-9 Players per team

Team registration is less strict than normal hockey, please select the age level and skill level you think your child will play best and have the most fun at.

Please note: We reserve the right to adjust teams to ensure fair play and evenly matched teams.

COST:

Skaters (8U & 10U): $140
Goalies (8U & 10U): $50

Skaters (12U): $160 (Includes Referee Fees)
